Ok, the title is a bit dramatic, I admit. But I had to share this amazing thing that happened to us today. I had been asking the Lord specifically for some extra money this week so our family could enjoy a nice Thanksgiving dinner, cut a nice evergreen Christmas tree, and pick up our newly fixed computer from the store. It's always fun (and stretching, I might add) to see how God answers prayers and this one is no exception. The answer came with surprising swiftness today when my husband sent me a text, saying that while he was on a job in Summerfield with his large bucket truck, someone came along and offered to give him$400 if he would put up some Christmas lights on a large Victorian house.
We are thanking God during this week of Thanksgiving for his provision for our family during this lean season of our lives. He really does take care of His children and He knows our needs before we even ask Him.
What a great way to put up lights. I'll bet if word gets out Fred could have a busy pre-Christmas season. Maybe he could dress up as Santa while he's putting up lights.
